When you are trained and registered by an iTRUK accredited company you automatically become a member. Your training records and operator qualifications are stored and potential employers can contact us to verify the categories you are qualified to operate.
iTRUK registered instructors have access to forms and booklets associated with workplace transport training, along with discounted prices for training manuals and all other merchandise.
Mobile companies do not have their own training premises and usually deliver training at customer locations. When an application is made for accreditation, an assessor will visit the applicant to ensure that all iTRUK standards are being applied and maintained. Mobile companies may also deliver instructor courses if qualified. Accreditation and membership are combined so there is only one annual payment.
Static Companies have their own training centres, although they can also deliver training off-site. They may also deliver instructor training. When a company applies to join iTRUK, an assessor will visit the premises to ensure that it meets with all of our standards. If an instructor course is in progress, an assessor will attend during training to ensure that the training is delivered correctly, the tutors are meeting the requirements and that the students are being tested accurately.
